Workshop Explores "Topic Modelling for Doing Research"

On September 25, CinTurs, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve, organized the workshop  "Topic Modelling for Doing Research". This workshop was designed for professors, doctoral students, and researchers interested in applying artificial intelligence techniques to enrich their research and open new opportunities for scientific collaboration. On October 30, CinTurs will welcome Professor Fevzi Okumus from University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management who will present a lecture  exploring “How to Become an Impactful Academic” by balancing research, teaching, service, and societal engagement.

UNESCO approves Algarvensis Geopark: CinTurs' Contribution

CinTurs is delighted to share the news of UNESCO’s official recognition of the Algarvensis Geopark. In the application stage, while it was still an Aspiring Geopark, CinTurs played an active role by contributing to the report “Shaping the Future: Strategic Insights for Geotourism Development in the Aspiring Geopark Algarvensis”. Building on this work, in May 2025 CinTurs and the Geopark Algarvensis, in collaboration with the University of Algarve, completed a second report entitled “Strategic-to-Action Marketing Blueprint for the Algarvensis Geopark”. This document provides a Marketing and Branding strategy designed to position Algarvensis as a national and international reference in sustainable geotourism.
